How do Grubhub Partner, Pro and Premier levels work?
Grubhub places drivers in Partner, Pro or Premier every Monday, based on three rates over the last 14 days: Offer Commitment, On-time Arrival at Merchant and Schedule Commitment. Pro needs more than 80% / 70% / 80%; Premier needs more than 95% / 80% / 95%. Higher levels get earlier access to schedule blocks and, for Premier, priority for large and catering orders. A level does not raise the pay on any single order.
The three rates Grubhub measures
- Offer Commitment Rate: how many offers you accept and complete, and how few you unassign after accepting.
- On-time Arrival at Merchant Rate: how promptly you reach the restaurant or store for pickup.
- Schedule Commitment Rate: how many scheduled blocks you complete versus remove.
Grubhub's level page does not list customer ratings as a level criterion. Some driver videos still discuss ratings shown in the app, and customer complaints can lead to account violations, so treat feedback seriously.
Level requirements and what they unlock
| Level | Offer commitment | On-time arrival | Schedule commitment | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premier | > 95% | > 80% | > 95% | Thursday block access, automated scheduling, priority for large and catering orders, highest rewards |
| Pro | > 80% | > 70% | > 80% | Friday block access, higher rewards |
| Partner | below Pro | below Pro | below Pro | Saturday block access |
New drivers receive a level after their first 20 deliveries. The page states the thresholds as "above" and "below", so a rate of exactly 80% or 95% is a gray zone; aim a point or two higher.
Partner rewards by level
- Robinhood IRA match (first year): 3% Premier, 2% Pro, 1% Partner.
- CarAdvise maintenance discounts: all drivers; Premier gets 50% off oil changes and Pro 25%.
- Health insurance (Stride) and dash cam (Nextbase) discounts for drivers generally.
- Milestone gear such as bags and cup carriers at delivery milestones like 50 and 100.
Partner offers change; check the current list in the app before you sign up for anything.
Is Premier worth chasing?
A 95% Offer Commitment Rate means accepting almost every offer for two weeks, including low-paying ones. That is a real cost. Premier pays off when:
- your market has more drivers than blocks, so Thursday access decides whether you work at all;
- catering and large orders are common in your area (they are paid like other orders but tend to be bigger, with bigger tips);
- most offers in your zone already clear your minimum $/mile.
If blocks are easy to get on Saturday and offers are thin, many drivers do better staying at Partner or Pro and declining offers that lose money. See which Grubhub offers to accept.

Driven Wyld takes a deep dive into Grubhub's On-time Arrival at Merchant Rate: how it affects your Driver Recognition Program status, how it differs from the Offer Commitment Rate, why Grubhub uses a 14-day window, and how it compares with DoorDash and Uber Eats metrics.

Protecting your rates
- Decline instead of unassigning. Unassigning after accepting hurts the Offer Commitment Rate and can count as an account violation if it delays or cancels a delivery.
- Be careful with Auto-Accept. It queues offers automatically; you can still unassign, but Grubhub warns that this affects your rate and could mean fewer opportunities.
- Leave early for pickups. On-time arrival is measured at the merchant, not at the customer.
- Book only blocks you will work and drop unwanted ones more than 72 hours ahead.
- Remember the 14-day window. A bad weekend fades out of the review after two weeks.
Frequently asked questions
What are the Grubhub Premier requirements?
Above 95% Offer Commitment Rate, above 80% On-time Arrival at Merchant Rate and above 95% Schedule Commitment Rate, measured over the last 14 days and updated every Monday.
What does Grubhub Pro require?
Above 80% Offer Commitment, above 70% On-time Arrival at Merchant and above 80% Schedule Commitment over the last 14 days.
Does Grubhub Premier pay more per order?
No. Premier brings earlier block access, automated scheduling, priority for large and catering orders and better partner rewards. The pay for each offer is not raised by your level.
Do customer ratings affect Grubhub driver levels?
Grubhub's level page lists only the three commitment and on-time rates as criteria. Customer complaints can still lead to account violations, so treat feedback seriously.
How often is the Grubhub driver level updated?
Every Monday, based on your delivery stats over the previous 14 days. New drivers get a level after 20 deliveries.
