What are the Uber Eats Pro requirements in 2026?
Uber Eats Pro is the courier rewards program with four tiers: Green (no requirements), Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Uber's default thresholds are a 30% acceptance rate for Gold and 50% for Platinum and Diamond, a cancellation rate of 8% or less (Gold) or 5% or less (Platinum and Diamond), a 90% to 92% satisfaction rate, and a monthly points total. Points are earned per delivery, more at lunch and dinner, and status lasts through the following month. Thresholds differ in some markets, including California and New York City, so your Uber Eats Pro hub in the Driver app is the final word.
The four tiers (Uber's default thresholds)

| Diamond | Same as Platinum | 5% or less | 92%+ | 80%+ | Varies by city |

Local versions differ
- California (select cities, 2026): Uber lists Gold at 30% acceptance, 80% on-time, 8% or lower cancellation, 90% satisfaction and 15 points; Platinum and Diamond at 50% acceptance, 90% on-time, 5% or lower cancellation and 92% satisfaction, with 50 points for Platinum and 400 or 600 points for Diamond depending on the city.
- New York City (from November 2, 2026): Uber lists Gold at 30% / 5% / 90% / 25 points, Platinum at 50% / 4% / 91% / 100 points and Diamond at 60% / 3% / 92% / 600 points (acceptance / cancellation / satisfaction / points).
How each rate is measured
- Acceptance rate: exclusive delivery requests you accepted out of your 100 most recent ones. Trip Radar requests do not count toward it.
- Cancellation rate: deliveries you cancelled out of your 100 most recently accepted ones, including Trip Radar trips after you accept them. Cancellations for safety reasons, closed merchants or orders already picked up by another courier do not count.
- Satisfaction rate: thumbs-up ratings out of your last 100 rated orders, from customers and merchants combined.
- On-time rate: used in select markets. Uber has not published the exact formula.
Points and timing
- Lunch (11 AM to 2 PM): 3 points per delivery.
- Dinner (5 PM to 9 PM): 6 points per delivery.
- Other times: 1 point per delivery.
Points build over a calendar month and reset to zero at the end of it. A new status applies as soon as you earn it and lasts through the following month: Diamond earned on January 2 lasts until the end of February. Point values and windows can differ by city, so check the hub.
What the tiers unlock
- Preferred Deliveries: Gold and higher are prioritized for higher-paying deliveries over Green; Platinum and Diamond over Gold.
- Planner and going online: in markets that use Planner (booking time slots), higher tiers can book earlier and get priority to go online without a reservation when it is busy. In the 2026 California and NYC versions, Platinum and Diamond are described as having the widest access.
- Premium Support for Diamond.
- Perks such as a Costco membership, an Arizona State University scholarship and gas discounts, depending on market and tier.
Uber says Gold-and-higher couriers can earn more than Green couriers, but it does not publish how much priority is worth. Couriers commonly report that the benefit depends heavily on how busy their market is.
Watch: a veteran courier on the new tiers in California
Los Angeles courier Wilcer (Crank Hustle), who says he has made more than 25,000 food deliveries over eight years, walks through the Green, Gold, Platinum and Diamond system rolling out in California: acceptance, on-time, cancellation and satisfaction rates, points, Preferred Deliveries and scheduling. His question is the one in the next section: whether a higher tier pays for the offers a cherry-picker would normally decline.

Is chasing Diamond worth it?
A 50% acceptance rate means taking about half of the exclusive offers you see, including some you would otherwise decline. The trade-off is simple to test:
- For two weeks, log every offer you accept only to protect your rate, with its pay and miles.
- Add up what those trips paid per mile and per hour versus your normal threshold (see which orders to accept).
- Compare that cost with what priority access actually added in your market: busier hours, earlier booking, better offers.
Many part-time couriers stay Green or Gold and pick offers freely; full-time couriers in Planner markets often find that higher tiers matter more because they decide when you can go online. Either way, keep your cancellation rate low: Uber's Community Guidelines say couriers who consistently cancel after accepting may lose access to delivery opportunities.
Frequently asked questions
What acceptance rate do you need for Uber Eats Diamond?
Uber's default is 50% or higher for Platinum and Diamond, but some markets use 70%, and the 2026 New York City version uses 60%. Check the Uber Eats Pro hub in your Driver app for your city.
Does Trip Radar affect my Uber Eats acceptance rate?
No. Uber says Trip Radar requests are excluded from acceptance rate. Once you accept a Trip Radar trip, cancelling it does count toward cancellation rate.
How do you earn Uber Eats Pro points?
Per completed delivery: by Uber's default rules, 3 points at lunch (11 AM to 2 PM), 6 points at dinner (5 PM to 9 PM) and 1 point at other times. Points reset every month.
How long does Uber Eats Pro status last?
A new status applies immediately and lasts through the end of the following month.
Is Uber Eats Pro the same as Uber Pro?
No. Uber Pro is the rideshare driver program. Uber Eats Pro is the separate delivery program with Green, Gold, Platinum and Diamond tiers.
